Privacy policy

This policy explains what information 1430 Consulting LLC (“1430 Consulting”, “we”, “us”), a Texas limited liability company, collects through this website, 1430consulting.com, and what we do with it. We have kept the site deliberately simple, so the list is short.

The short version

• If you use the contact form, we receive what you type into it and use it to reply.
• A spam check from Cloudflare (Turnstile) runs on the contact form.
• We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies.
• Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard request logs to run and protect the site.
• This website sets no cookies. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

What we collect and why

The contact form

When you send a message, we receive your name, your email address, your company if you give one, and your message. The site’s server checks the form and emails it to business@1430consulting.com using Cloudflare’s email service. The website does not keep its own copy in a database; the message lives in our business email.

We use this information only to read and answer your inquiry, and to follow up on any work we discuss. Please don’t send confidential or sensitive information through the form.

Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

To keep automated spam out, the contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile. It loads from Cloudflare when the form comes into view, and it checks signals from your browser and device, such as your IP address and browser type, to tell people from bots. When you send the form, our server passes the Turnstile result and your IP address to Cloudflare to verify it. Cloudflare describes this processing in its Turnstile privacy addendum.

Analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics)

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It works without cookies or other storage in your browser and does not follow you across other websites. It records information about each page view, such as the page address, the referring site, your browser and operating system, and your approximate country, and shows it to us only as totals.

Hosting and security logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes your IP address and details of each request (such as the page requested, the time, and your browser’s user agent) to deliver the site and to protect it from attacks and abuse. If the contact form runs into an error, the site records a short technical note about the failure, without the content of your message.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies and does not store anything in your browser, so it shows no cookie banner. The Turnstile spam check runs inside a frame served by Cloudflare, under Cloudflare’s own policies.

Who we share it with

We share information only as needed to run the site and answer you:

• Cloudflare, which hosts the site, delivers contact form email, provides the spam check and the analytics, under the Cloudflare privacy policy.
• Our email provider, which stores the messages we receive at business@1430consulting.com.
• Authorities or other parties when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
• A successor business, if 1430 Consulting is ever merged or sold, under the same protections described here.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form messages for as long as we need them to respond, to carry out and document any work that follows, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete them. Analytics are kept as aggregate totals. Cloudflare keeps its logs for the periods set out in its own policies.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing business@1430consulting.com. Depending on where you live, the law may give you further rights; we will answer any reasonable request either way. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS, and the contact form is checked on the server before anything is sent. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children; if you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and its effective date above.
